El Centro de Estudios del Desarrollo (Cendes) de la Universidad Central de Venezuela ofrece el Curso de Ampliación “Ecogerencia del Cambio Climático”, que inicia el próximo 9 de marzo del presente año.
El Dr. Hamlin Jordan, coordinador del curso, informó que se trata de una formación orientada principalmente a fortalecer las competencias técnicas para la gestión del cambio climático, incluyendo la utilización de instrumentos y herramientas básicas en gestión ambiental. “Está orientado a tomadores de decisiones en instituciones públicas y privadas, cargos gerenciales en los que se puedan articular acciones específicas de adapatación y mitigación, así como las buenas prácticas ambientales que se traducen en “ecoeficiencia”, dijo el especialista.
La Dra. Zulay Poggi llevará de la mano a los participantes para que conozcan las bases científicas y conceptuales del cambio climático. Por su parte la Dra. Isabel De los Ríos instruirá sobre el marco legal del cambio climático.
Por su parte el Dr. Hamlin Jordan, acompañará durante 56 horas del curso a los participantes para hablar de Cambio climático, decisiones y retos, en un módulo de 24 horas; y Estrategias ecogerenciales para el manejo del cambio climático en el país, con una duración de 32 horas. En total son 128 horas académicas.
